Did You Know?: King Kong Bundy

* King Kong Bundy used the following names before finding the one that fit: Boom Boom Bundy, Big Daddy Bundy, Man Mountain Cannon Jr., and Chris Canyon (not to be confused with the WCW star.)
* Bundy was brought into wrestling in World Class Championship Wrestling by the Von Erich Family. He wore blue jeans and a rope belt and was dubbed Big Daddy Bundy.

* In WCCW, Gary Hart became his manager after a turn on the Von Erichs and gave Bundy his famous black singlet. During a feud with the family, Bundy lost his hair that he would keep shaved throughout his career.
* In Mid-South Wrestling, he began asking referees to count to five when he
pinned an opponent.

He won the shortest Wrestlemania match ever by defeating S.D. Jones at the first Wrestlemania. The match was publicized as 9 seconds, but the actual timekeeper determined it was 23.
* At Wrestlemania III, he competed in a 6-man tag match featuring midgets. At the end of the match, Bundy bodyslammed and elbow-dropped midget wrestler Little Beaver, ending his career.
* He made several appearances on the sitcom "Married.......with Children". The main characters on the show were the namesake of Bundy taking his last name. He starred on the show several times.
* Recently, Bundy, now semi-retired, has taken up stand-up comedy.
* While wrestling in the WWF, announcer Bobby Heenan billed him as "Shamu" while his announcing counterpart, Gorilla Monsoon" dubbed him as a "walking condominium."
